Dane Deutsch, CEO / President

Dane is a retired US Air Force Captain who during his last assignment was in charge of all communications at a US Air Force base in Turkey. He currently holds MCSE, MCP, and A+ certifications. Dane's true leadership abilities and skills have helped form a team that truly has a passion for Internet Security. Dane speaks at events around the nation on the topic of Internet Security, and has become known for a popular presentation titled "Security is everyone's business Starting With The CEO".

Mike Vaughn, WatchGuard Trainer / Technician

Mike joined the DCS Netlink team after separating from the Air Force in 1999. Since joining DCS Netlink, he has gotten his A+ certification, his Windows 2000 MCSE, and his WatchGuard certifications. He has worked extensively as a lead technician for DCS Netlink's largest contracted companies and has spent many hours consulting with the various other technicians and departments on projects & upgrades. Mike is currently the lead engineer in DCS Netlink’s Security group, which helps install, manage and monitor customers Internet security defenses all over the U.S. and is a secured member of the FBI's InfraGard organization. As a WatchGuard instructor, Mike teaches from real world knowledge, helping students understand real world issues and challenges. During his classes Mike concentrates on as many hands on labs as possible, and brings a refreshingly simple approach to Internet Security.

Steve Newman, WatchGuard Technician

As one of our senior technicians, Steve spends the majority of his time face to face with many of our clients. Steve Newman has really become one of our major interfaces with our clients in the educational arena. Many of his WatchGuard clients are from High Schools, Middle Schools, as well as Regional Educational Support Organizations. He understands education, their unique needs and requirements, and has helped implement plans, policies, procedures, and better ways to lock down educational networks through the use of the WatchGuard product family.
